About us
The walking mowers is run by Henry Hurst (Year 10) and James Winfield (Year 11) and we have decided that over the summer holiday we want to raise some money for our school sports tour by cutting lawns, walking people's dogs and doing other odd jobs. We are from Long Ashton and we both go to Bristol Grammar school. We both love sport and our favourite is rugby but combined we do hockey, cricket, squash and tennis.
We set dog walking as one of our services because Henry has a dog which we take for walks. This means that we love dogs and we are very comfortable with dogs big or small. James also has pets which he handles well and takes good care of.
We also set gardening as one of our services because we love being outdoors and we thought we could earn some money at the same time whilst offering a quality service to the people of long Ashton. We believe we can cut your lawn to a very high standard because we often do gardening at home so we have good experience of doing it.
But we are not just doing it for ourselves but we are doing it for everyone else as well as sometimes you just don't have the time to cut the grass or take the dog for a walk so hopefully we can provide a high quality service for you.
